Physical Science is a subject designed to give our students a basic knowledge of chemistry and physics, as well as Earth Science. The general goals of this course are for the student to develop laboratory skills, improve reasoning skills by applying their knowledge to new situations, learn the concepts of physical science as observed in the laboratory, and develop communication skills within the context of science.
AP® Physics C is a calculus-based course in physics. The syllabus for this course is designed by College Board. This course is equivalent to the pre-engineering introductory physics mechanics course for the university students. The emphasis is on understanding the concepts and skills and using the concepts and formulae to solve problems. Laboratory work is an integral part of this course.
